I have spent the last two hours at work playing Paigow and racing virtual ponies. I am up $6.23.

I hope everyone on the Boston College football team gets a terminal illness. That was an abortion of a game.

The VT player that fucked up the on-side kick should get fisted by an angry gorilla.

BMo – Did you overcompensate for the date being wrong on your watch? I know you were a day behind at the beginning of the week, now you’re two days ahead at the end of the week.

BMo and Dutch – I think the new forum will make it easier for show prep. All conversation is going to be much more organized. It will make it much easier for you to follow specific conversations. Was it really that hard back in the All-In days, BMo? That forum was one of the best I’ve seen before you left, it never seemed like you had a problem.

Jimmymac – Ahh, is that what “ride the pine” means…It was far more fun my way, but yes, given the real meaning, we can ride the pine together, or if this ends up being in Brian’s backyard, which it just might, a blanket.

Not only did I get the date wrong, I forgot to mention it was mule day. I was way off.

Stu – To answer your question, as disjointed as all in was, it took me over an hour to get through all the posts at it’s peak. But, since we’re going to break it down into the natural categories for the show, it shouldn’t be as bad.

Brian; I would surely tell you what my fetish costume would be if I was able to go. But Dutch is right, the office calls. But I did tell Dutch what I wore the last time. Ask him.
And yes, you can take pictures. Since I’m not going you’ll have to settle for flicks from my office. I’m sure the girls will oblige for some topless, semi-lesbian tongue action with one another. I’ll just tell them you work for the Chamber of Commerce :)

B-Mo, Dutch, Mo-fobes, and Lady Grey,

Thanks for all your concern. Even though their three houses are gone, they’re doing okay. Lots of family in the area and lots of preparedness. USA Today even mentioned them in an article in 2004 on how their preparedness and fire-safety-mania helped them defeat one of the blazes in 2003 right from their yard. They’re in good spirits and have said how they’d be camping out on their property right now if they still had a tent and how my wife’s Aunt is glad that the sleep number bed her husband insisted on and she hated is now a water bed and she hopes there is no warranty on it. So they can laugh, anyways. Eternal optimists those folks are!

As horrible as the fires have been, I think getting fisted by an angry gorilla would hurt worse.

    Really liked the show today…
For the past year or so I have lived in a townhouse where a bunch of cats hang out. One would stop by almost every day so I know what Tommy means about kitties who hang out. Sadly this same kitty was killed last night…

As for the Lakers and Kings being in vegas, they have played at least one game in vegas for the past 3 or 4 years. The first game they ever played together in vegas was when doug christie caught rick fox with a weak ass punch. Anyway, I’m watching this years contest so I’m out, I swear I will try to hit up the sunday show live soon. Have a good weekend all

ok, here is point of clarification since you two obviously have no grasp of the rodeo arts and were confusing 2 entirely separate events.

bull riding – cowboy strapped on top of a 2,200 pound pissed off bull for 8 seconds. 0-100 scoring system with 0-50 for rider & 0-50 for the bull (some are meaner than others)

calf roping – cowboy on horse races after a 2-300 lb. calf then ropes it, tackles it, and ties its legs together in the fastest time.

and apparently the fine sport of bull riding has not escaped the steroid controversy either, but you might be surprised who is taking them.

    http://sports.yahoo.com/top/news?slug=jo-bullsteroids100107&prov=yhoo&type=lgns

best line from the story: “When you got a 2-year-old bull or a 3-year-old bull looking like Arnold Schwarzenegger, there is some form of steroid there,” he said.

The practice dates back at least to the late 1990s, when Nelson said steroid use was so rampant he decided to give it a try. He said his bulls became more aggressive and muscular but also developed side effects. For some, hair color changed. Others grew sterile, jeopardizing their value as potential breeders.

and i have tried to give it a chance, but i just don’t get your love of the rio. with a few exceptions, i really don’t like much about that place. the food is way overpriced for the quality, the main casino is dark & smoky due to very low ceilings, the poker room sucks, and it doesn’t offer any good odds on sports or video poker. the intermittent stage dancing cocktail waitresses are past their prime and those routines are tired, their little mall/promenade is awful and that fucking mardi gras in the sky is annoying as hell. i’d rather be strapped the rail watching the fountains at bellagio all day than watch that stupid show.

the pool, buffet, WSOP (maybe) & lucky strike lanes are the only positives. it would be in the 20′s on my list, for sure.

    October 27, 2007 | 8:53 pm

OK Guys Acerockolla is back in the UK after five wonderful weeks in Asia.
I would like to put Bangkok up as my new favorite City in the world – It’s crowded, noisy and dirty but it’s very calming and the people are wonderful, all the little shrines and budda’s make the place a bit special – it’s the only form of religion I would consider.
Macau is a very cool place, Chinese but with a European feel thanks to the Portugese influence, I stayed at the Wynn. The exterior is an exact copy of the Vegas building but on a smaller scale, it also has a (much) smaller version of the Bellagio fountains outside the entrance. The room was very nice and the bed was easily the most comfortable of our trip.
Gambling wise Macau is something else, with loads of weird and wonderful games.
Anybody heard of Fan Tan? how about Sick Bo?
Fan Tan consists of a pile of what looks like plastic buttons and a metal bell type top that is put of the pile of buttons to seperate some of them from the rest. Then they are seperated into rows of 4 and the final row is either 1, 2, 3 or 4 buttons and thats what the people are betting on.
I cant remember what Sick Bo was (I wrote the name down but not a description!), there was also a domino type game.
Far and away most popular game seems to be Baccarat, played live on tables or on a computerised version much like Speed Roulette (perfect for beginners like me).
The best casino to gamble in was the Grand Lisboa which would certainly fit in well in Vegas as it’s a stunning building, although it’s not finished yet (the top floors still look like work is being down to them judging by the cranes on the top and the missing cladding) but the casino is certainly in full effect.
Macau was not as wild as I was expected, I had expected a mad crush of desperate to gamble chinese people, but it was a very similar experience to vegas.
I did not get to see the Venetian as it is about a 25 minute Taxi ride away from the Wynn and I had at least 8 casinos within a 15 minute walk.
I did not see any sports books and do not think these are a feature of Macau casinos.
Best gambling experience though was in the Philipines at a place called Tagatay, in a place called Casino Filipino which was the only Casino in town, playing with just 500 pesos (about $10) I turned it into 3500 pesos playing Roulette.
To me gambling is not about the money (as you can tell I am a real low roller) but to be able to play for a few hours with my alloted stake win or lose is a joy. So you can imagine how happy I was to walk away a winner after 3 hours of play. The atmosphere here was great with a live band playing, the croupiers were singing along just a great little casino.
I managed to spend my time in Hong Kong shitting through the eye of a needle so cant really tell you what it was like.
The Philipines is a great place and I highly recommend it, especially to my American friends who need to make their week American currency go a bit further.
Now the bottom line where did I visit?
In the Philipines we went to Manila (Makati City) Cool city with great shopping and restaurants, Tagatay (Great views over the Volcanic Lake) and Anilou (amazing diving or snorkling here!).
Thailand – Bangkok (awesome!), Pattaya (disgusting must be one of the sex tourism capitals of the world not a place I would recommend to anybody).
Hong Kong (too ill to really judge) – Shenzen (dont bother) amd Macau (great fun).
Would I choose any off these place over Vegas
NO! Vegas rocks – Whilst I was away my parents visited Vegas after listening to me raving about it for the last 4 years – and they loved it, they want o move their!
I seem to be doing well in the football picks on this site but am total shit on our Yahoo game.
Oh well – better get back to catching up on the shows.

i’m with jimmymac, they are required unless your car meets both of the rules to be excepted. the vast majority of cars have a place for a front license plate or have brackets to mount one.

Fobes, I may need your help. I’m trying to figure out a way to tell the story of the restaurant last night, but I’m not sure I can do it justice. How can you truly capture the magic of a 50 year old drunken Cuban woman screaming out “Hail Hitler” in the middle of a meal, then trying to kiss my wife?

ps – I spent the entire day painting the new baby room. I feel like I’m sitting inside a gallon of mint chip ice cream, only considerably less delicious.

  39. mofobes
    October 28, 2007 | 1:14 am

    mint chocolate chip ice cream….mmmmmm…yummmm.

try to kiss you wife?…she succeeded a couple of times, plus a couple of belly rubs. don’t the forget the myriad other profanities, the screaming at us to not look at her and how could you forget her older male friend who thought it was appropriate to tie his shirt up ala Mary Ann from Giligan’s Island and accompany the belly dancer in a performance.

its a whale of a story…leave a good ten minutes on the show. let me know any other help i can provide.

When playing Paigow in a casino do they use single deck?

It’s nice to see the Creepy Uncle improve his record. 9-17 is awesome.

Pai-Gow is not easy to learn. I keep trying but the dominoes make it tricky.

  49. asterion

Also, Sic Bo is not a particularly fun game. I have never actually bet it for money but I have played it some for fun as it is one of the games available in one of my computer casino games. There are several bets, of course, but the only reasonably good one is the even money small/big bet. Otherwise it’s a lot like playing roulette (but somewhat faster). Lots of bad bets available, pretty much no action by the player, and a way to lose a lot of money really quickly. If you are going to play a dice game, shoot craps.

  50. AceRockollaUK
    October 28, 2007 | 5:45 pm

Each to his own asterion, Craps is a fun game but I need a refresher course before I can play it as I don’t play it enough to remember what the fuck I am supposed to do and when i can take my money etc.
I love roulette and find it overall treats me pretty well, winning visit last time I was in Vegas and recently in the Philipines, Got horribly fucked over at the Wynn, Macau though but every game in that place beat me like a bitch. Thank god for the Grand Lisboa
