About the Donovan McNabb things, maybe i’ve been under a rock for the last 8 years, but just don’t see the “great” play that you are talking about.
He has thrown over 30TD’s in a season, once and has completed more than 60% of his passes only once.
Sorry this guy is average. Maybe he just isn’t that good and that’s why the fans are getting on him, plus it’s not the easiest place to play.

Now that is a fight I’d love to see but getting past Mayweather is hardly a small job.
In fact I can probably call the fight now. As Hatton is stepping up a weight it’s likely to end in the 9 round (well anywhere between 8 and 10) due to a serious cut over Hatton left eye. The cut will have been opened by an accidental clash of heads in round 4 and from that point onwards the flight would be a bloodbath.
Of course for Hatton vs Mayweather 2 they’ll be stepping down a weight. So it’d be over in about 7 as the wieght of the Hatton body blows and the step down would just be too much for Mayweather.
As an Eagles fan I’m obligated to vote for the Cowboys as the most hated team.
Also, Brian/TD can we get an update on the new TAI “Ship It” shirts/poker chips? Also have we given up hope on Brian’s CD being put up on the store too?
Great live show, although it definitely took me a minute to get used to the audio sound quality. Initially I thought you guys had an announcer until I realized it was Brian’s voice doing the usual intro. After a minute all was good though–no audio drop outs at all. The random pictures being put in the chatroom made for an interesting time too. Also it’s good to see the numbers start to climb, 25 members consistently this time around!
I vote for my most hated team and I see it a 4 way tie! I’m thinking its going to be close like the best 100th episode call, then I look and see there have only been 4 votes

Tommy–Happy Birthday–like your “100th” show, I figure as I am around the date within a week it’s good.
Thanks for the feedback on the live show everyone. As we’ve said before it’s a work in progress. Donbest sprung for some fancy equipment, but unfortunately it hasn’t been working properly, hence the reduced sound quality. Also, Tommy and I are still training our brains to do 3 things at once. Between talking, going over the lines, and scanning the chatroom for input, there may be a few more “uh’s” and stumbles than you’re used to hearing, but we’ll get there eventually. Keep in mind, this is only week 4 of the process. Thanks especially to everyone who participates live. We have a lot of dry material we have to get through, and the occasional break for shit talk or great question to answer really helps break it up.
Brian and Tommy — You guys do a good job. The sound quality hasn’t been bad at all for me. Keep up the good work guys –

I hate Notre Dame and I hate the Cowboys and I hate Kobe, but I hate the Yankmees, but I REALLY hate Nebraska. Mostly…no entirely because of the horrible/obnoxious fans. I have several friends who went to ND and love them, but they are all very cool people and I can tolerate see that pained franchiase on TV every weekend.
When I moved to Minneapolis, there was another younger guy who worked with me that had recently moved there from LINCOLN with his wife and he seemed cool (turned out to be a complete TOOLBOX). He asked me if I like sports and football and I said hell yes. He asked me and my wife to join them at a local bar to hang out for some drinks and watch the Nebraska game. She had been a Nebraska cheerleader. We went to a place here’s the link. BOYCOTT alert. http://www.sensers.com/ I walk in about 3 minutes into the 1st quarter. NOTHING BUT RED. TONS and TONS of Nebraska fans. The wife hah her cheerleading sweater on. Nebraska is playing some donkdick school like Steven F. Austin and killing them 20-0 within seconds and the crowd is loving it. This guy is going nuts. I start complaining that the game sux. He states this is the only game I like. I only like it when we win by 35 or more. “I hate the close ones”. “Close ones” are less than 35 points? WTF. Turns out this clown KNEW nothing about sports outside of Nebraska football like most of these troglodytes. My wife and I bailed before halftime after making up some excuse. We got several dirty looks for A. NO RED SUPPORT and B. LEAVING EARLY. I fuckin’ hate Nebraska.
PS I won’t be completely negative. Best Bruce Springsteen album ever is titled “Nebraska”.

In any case – I got a problem. I talked my wife into going to Vegas for her birthday under the pretext of “you’ll see a lot of famous people, baby! They’re on every corner out there!”
Now, I’ve been to Vegas probably 8 times, and the most famous person I have seen is the midget with a beard that is not Vern Troyer. I don’t think that’s gonna cut it for her.
Any ideas on where to see famous people?

It came out while I was in college and at 3AM when we wanted everyone to leave a party we’d toss on the Nebraska LP and everyone would be gone by track 5. As for McNabb, I agree with yzerman. I just don’t see it. Yes, he’s athletic. Yes, he’s black. Yes, he is a quarterback. But no I don’t think he is even close to as good as Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. Tony Romo is looking really good also, maybe the ‘Boys knew what they were doing. Matt Schaub(sp?) is also looking very good. Vince Young is the same type of QB that McNabb used to be and it looks like is doing a better job of it.

English Bob, Thanks for your rugby posts for the same reasons, getting your take on the games is a good sounding board. On that note, i’ve already got a bet on Canada -13.5 tonight, i can’t see Japan holding on, Canada’s had 4 more days rest. I’ve also taken a Canadian try for first scoring play. I’m staying away from the Romania V Portugal game, although i’d lean towards Portugal +20.

Mens room entry doors which have the handle to pull open on the INSIDE…
My case: I’d rather pull the door open using the handle on the way in and push on the way out. Some guys, the dirty bastards, dont wash up after doing what they gotta do and if that’s the case then it means they are using the handle to pull the door open to exit the mens. Surely having a ‘pull to enter’, ‘push to exit’ set up would be more hygenic??? At least then I could use my elbow to push my way out…
Maybe im overanalysing this but as i was washing my hands this morning, a guy came out of a cubicle and walked right by me, without washing and then pulled the handle to exit…I had to use some of the paper towel to open the doors which was then thrown back into the mens room behind me as i exited….. Shitstains or even shitparticles on the handle arent my idea of a good time. Im not saying there was shit on his hands but fuck man WASH UR HANDS

While I agree that your idea would certainly benefit hygiene, I’m slightly concerned that washroom doors opening into passageways could be slightly dangerous. I don’t think I’d appreciate getting slammed in the face by some colleague rushing to get back to his desk after taking a nap in stall #2.
Maybe the best solution is just to have “wash your hands” instructions plastered throughout the washrooms as seen in TD & BMo’s offices.

I was a bit late on the Rugby for today so no picks for todays games.
For the record though I would’ve gone for Canada and Portugal – for exactly the same reasons as posted by Roosterman earlier. If I’d have bet on the games I’d have gone 1-1 which could’ve been worse.
So Wednesdays games are:
Samoa vs USA (Samoa -18)
Georgia vs Namibia (Georgia -13)
Samoa are far to stong a team for USA to handle and are playing for pride as they’ve yet to win a game. I’d expect the 18 points to be easily covered in this one.
Georgia should also be good for the 13 points against Namibia. However, so far I’ve not won a single bet involving Namibia so let that be a warning to all on this game.
I’ve also bet on the England vs Tonga game. I’ve got Tonga +21, now I expect England to win the game, but 21 points is a big number for the way both teams have been playing so far.

I can’t believe more listners aren’t selecting Duke basketball as their most hated sports team.
