It’s The Happy, Fun, Feel Good Show!

After a rocky few days of “football” fueled debate on the message boards, Brian and Tommy decide to bring some joy into the world with tales of overt racism, a bride and groom dining in squalor, overrated athletes, drunken astronauts and the end of the world as we know it.

On the plus side we learn about Shaq’s love for orange chicken, Brian’s struggle for manhood, and Bridget’s eye for food and clothing, er, fashion.  She was eating a hot dog!

The tt course over 30 miles long through towns and villages and over the mountain.
Closed roads all twisty and the fastest rider this year did a lap of an average speed of a staggering 130mph.
Fuck me some parts of the course they are reaching speeds of 190mph on a bloody motorbike.

Damn it! Why couldn’t you have posted yesterday workinggirl? We had to tape a day early because Tony is going on a football fest, so now Dutch gets a whole weekend to think of a calm rational answer to your question.

I will stick up for my boy though. When you say he’s “acting immature lately”, that’s not fair. He’s never been terribly mature. After all, he tried to use this show to try to pick up women in clubs.

Yeah that TT course, no nice run offs, you crash here you usually die!
Either hitting a house, a stone wall or flying off into a filed somewhere.
These are the bravest (maddest) guys racing anywhere – Think about it averaging 130 mph even on a bloody normal race circuit is ffing fast – These guys have to contend with manhole covers, drain, completely different weather on different parts of the island.

Little known fact: The TT race was introuduced to introduce a bit of variety into the gene pool! Thousands of bikers, drunk and rampant – Parrtttyyyy!

Unfortunately Yuengling doesn’t make it to the west. Otherwise I’d have the fridge stocked full of the stuff here in New Mexico. I got hooked on that beer when I was in college in PA, especially when you could get it for less than $2 a draft at the local “college” bar.

As for the battery, the heat screws with the electrochemistry. They’re already pretty bad about self-discharging and the heat just makes it worse. So they drain deeper overall and have to go through greater charging cycles, all of which shortens battery life.

And Brian you are massively wrong about the space program. 17 billion is a bargain compared to some of the real wastes of money by the feds and at least we get something out of it. As for the shuttle program, that needs an overhaul and ISS is a freaking orbiting white elephant, but at least the probes have been worthwhile these last few years. And you’re thinking of the Columbia, which burned up on reentry due to damage to the heat shield.

Why is it just when boxing get interesting again (Mayweather/Hatton) they have to go and remind me why the heavyweight division is such a joke:

I agree that there are probably bigger wastes of money in the government budget, I guess I just don’t understand what we’re trying to accomplish with the space program. Not trying to start an argument, I genuinely don’t see the purpose. Does anyone have an argument to educate me?

Man, I’m too much of a beer snob to vote for anything other than Fat Tire. Not my favorite beer by any means but it’s best on the list. I have no clue what FUDD is but Tony, I was half expecting you to put on Cooper’s Sparkling on there!

Boxing started on a slippery slope when it was possible for half a dozen different people to be heavy weight champ at the same time.
This then led to the need for a series of re-unification fights – farce.
A champion of the world should be the best, not just one of the best half dozen.

Mind you Hatton – Mayweather is gonna big a dam good fight – it’s what boxing needs to keep UFC at bay.

    Plays for Thursday:

    D-Backs +190 over Padres
    Marlins +101 over Rockies
    Giants +110 over Dodgers

I’m too lazy to make up reasons for the bets. It takes a lot of effort and I usually end up losing anyway.

    Record: +30

    Dude.
Literally saw the greatest baseball game of my life last night. Just amazing. Mariners triumph in the bottom of the 12th over the Angels 8-7 on 20 hits!. This game had EVERYTHING. Ichiro throwing out Guerrero at the plate from center for a sweet double play. A crazy pitcher/1st basemen collison leading to a 2 run fluke inning. The Mariners giving away the win on a totally botched Suicide Squeeze. The Angels ended up “pulling the goalie” on a move I’ve never seen and brought in a 5th infielder at one point. Just totally awesome.

Another baseball question/pet peeve of mine…why do they basically score ANYTHING that put a hitter on base as a HIT and virtually NEVER score a play as an ERROR. Last night there should have been probably 3 errors on each team but they each ended up with ZERO. It seems like the stats are just being padded all the time. Guerrero hit a little dribbler towards first that ended up with Felix Hernandez and the 1st baseman collided and Guerrero ended up on second because both Mariner’s were on the turf for about 5 minutes. The play got scored as a DOUBLE for Guerrero. Get SERIOUS! Give him a single at the VERY most. My opinion….not nearly enough errors scored in baseball.

    Brian,

Don’t belittle your baseball picks, if you’re betting $100,000 units, you’re up 30 grand.

Is anyone interested in entering a football(NFL)contest this year?I’ve set one up at Yahoo sports,it’s basically just a pick’em contest each week.We all put in $20 each, make our picks each week(no spread, just win or lose),the web site will keep track of everyone’s totals thruout the year, and then we’ll pay off the top finishers at the end of the year. We can take up to 25 entries,I figure we should be good for at least 10 or more from TAI,plus you can invite your friends to play…

    I’m thinking 1st place pays 60%
    2nd ” “25%
    3rd” “15% of the entire pot…

You can make and change your picks up to 5 minutes before game time each week, all you do is log on to the Yahoo website to make your picks, the software does the rest.I’ve done this the last 3 years, and it’s alot of fun ,plus the best overall pickers are rewarded with cash. Anyone interested?

    Carona: Piss
    Rolling Rock: Piss
    Heinekin: Piss after eating Asparagus
Fat Tire: Mmm, tasty (The only beer worth drinking on the list.)
Fudd: Fictional but still tastier than Heinekin.
