It’s gonna be a busy week in Vegas chock full of entertainment, including ex heroine addict Artie Lange and ex meth addict Fergie. But don’t worry, they’re both clean now, so more for the rest of us!
Topics of the day include a rehash of the successful tipping segment, why you should never trust a lawyer with a mullet, Tommy’s new roomie, Brian finds a perfect job, the #15 property in Las Vegas, and mob justice returns to southern Nevada. I said no mutha fucka!

Fyregirl… Could you help ur out with your professional opinion? Back on shows 71/72 we were having a discussion on the topic of ‘the worst song to get a lap dance to’ so to settle a bet would it be possible to dance to ‘the ballad of bilbo baggins’ (link to video on message board show 72 ‘Danny Gans..’) and still remain sexy?
fuckin admin cheated me – when I looked at the post it just said test, now I look back and it’s full of pictures
oh and while I am at it
I feel that its time
to go for the most posts in a time span
trouble is I am running out of energy
aww shit can’t be bothered to carry on
Oh I suppose just a little more – I am trying to catch up episode wise and am at January 07 but I am now working both ends so listening to this new episode as well
OK that’s it i’m done (for now)
How’s my punctuation?
So I’m in Clear Lake right now reading the morning paper, and I come across an article about an “incident” that occurred yesterday along Hwy 18. Apparently some local girls reported a creepy man wearing Skechers who stopped at their sweet corn stand claiming to be “checkin’ in”. They reported the man assumed they were hookers because they were hanging out on the corner. When they told him they were only 14, he started asking about local moms. He then asked where the local strip club was, but they told him “this ain’t Vegas” and asked him what kind of degenerate wants to go to a strip club at noon on a Thursday. Unhappy with their service, he tipped them by throwing a handful of nickels in the air. The man then got back in his trans-am and went on his way. Luckily no one was injured by the hailstorm of nickels.
I’ve not listen yet – the Friday show is a pleasure saved for a lazy Saturday mornings.
But, how’s this for the ultimate DUI:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/6918801.stm
No news yet if the astronauts where researching there 5 favourite beers.
It’s easy to tell who the PhD is around here. Strong work brother.
On a side note, I think I’ve set the watermark by wearing my TAI embrace your inner degenerate T-shirt to a CHILDREN’S MUSEUM. It got a couple of funny looks while I was fingerpainting with my infant and whatnot. Since I basically don’t go to church any more I felt it was the next best place.
Dude, no kidding. I can’t believe we haven’t boarded about the astronauts. I haven’t heard the show yet. Hope I don’t retread anything. Come on you can understand an airline pilot or schoolbus driver being drunk, they work like 5 days/week. You can’t be sober forever, but for the love of Christ the astronaut launch like once or maybe twice a career. Take a night off.
Boys – Just listened to the Fyregirl episode – thanks for the mention – However don’t waste your time talking about Beckham he’s a tosser. The reason he has moved to the USA is not for love of the game it’s to please his freaky looking hard nippled biatch of a wife.
She might struggle to stay in the limelight, even in celeb obsessed USA, after all she cant compete as a badgirl, she is a dodgy looking hoe, she’s married and she cant fuckin sing!
As for Fyregirl, she felt an attraction to Tommy D – what’s that about, is Dutch a whore magnet? These are the kind of questions I want answered.
Hawkeye- fantastic post man laugh, i almost shat myself!
Ace lithium now comes in easy to swallow pills.
Oh and by the way I dont ‘hate’ American sports. I just struggle to understand why you guys can’t embrace Football like your South American brothers. Instead you invent games for Freaky tall kids, people who can Ice Skate and fight at the same time, men who like to dress up in lots of padding and explode for 2 seconds of action every few minutes. Or people who can only kick with one foot and only once every 10 – 15 minutes.
As for how many points (or goals) in a game – Is the beauty of Basketball the scoring through the hoop or the build up?
Football is about the build up and the defence – A game finishing 22 – 24 would not be a good game of football – it would just prove that it’s too easy to score.
American football is entertaining but you can see why it never really takes off anywhere else in the world, why the overseas leagues keep failing. I spent time working in Brazil and watched it every monday night in the company of Americans and enjoyed it, back home in the UK I tried and tried but without lots of friends around and alcohol its just boring.
Baseball – gets a push, I really do enjoy watching it. The downside is way to many games a season mean that individual games are not that important.
Of course all that being said. The USA is getting better and better at football.
When you guys actually do win the World Cup, suddenly it will get massive coverage and will finally get a foothold in the states.
As for the Olympics: The coverage of the Olympics in Atlanta was terrible if an American did not win a competition, that sport it was hardly reported or covered. Watch any other countries olympics coverage it’s about the beauty of the sport, the fight to win, to overcome. With you yanks you either win or take your ball home and refuse to play.
It’s actually the same with war, you guys have all the best toys but if you cant win you throw all your toys out of the pram (killing everyone and anyone) and then go home!
Ace, I’m not a sports fan at all. I could care less about football, soccer, baseball, basketball, etc… However, despite my passion for sports, I’m fairly certain soccer (I know it’s called football every where else, it’s just easier to distinguish between your football and our football if they’re talked about in the same post) is going to take off in the US within the next few years. It’s not exactly huge in the professional scene, but it’s unreal how many children play soccer now. Just about any child brought up to play sports is now choosing soccer over most sports. So with such an influx of children playing the game, and parents being so supportive (sometimes a little TOO supportive… can you say trailer trash brawls? lol), I can really see the future of professional soccer taking off and becomming a much more supported game in the US. It’s just going to take a few more years to happen.
Seriously brother….like 2 pills a swallow of water…piece of cake.
Some of us have nothing better to do than to hang out on the TAI message board
hey Ace your not the only one who got screwed by the test post
BMo – love the ticket story, ever see the movie Nothing but Trouble?
I miss the great bands of the 90′s like Digital Underground
patch – dont worry at the moment I’m on Codine, Parcetomal, Ibrufen and Some special Muscular crap called Rhumalgan – i’m always this cranky!
Stu you are right – Football WILL be big in the USA. Beckham wont be what makes it. It will come from your homegrown players.
Just like your womens team, the men will one day be a top football nation. It’s a numbers game and the great thing about football over every other sport (except basketball) is that you can easily practice it on your own.
RIP The Weekly World News – I’ll mis you so
Charlie Mackenzie: Hey Mom, I find it interesting that you refer to the Weekly World News as, “The paper.” The paper contains facts.
May Mackenzie: This paper contains facts. And this paper has the eighth highest circulation in the whole wide world. Right? Plenty of facts. “Pregnant man gives birth.” That’s a fact.
JiminTx ” I miss the great bands of the 90′s like Digital Underground”
Really? Fuck man sorry.
Ace who rattled your cage
It’s just the way I roll
The biggest reason that the US women are so good in soccer is Title IX. Here in the US we have a law that says that a university must provide the same number of varsity athletic opportunities for men and women. Soccer is a very cheap way for them to make up the gap. As large as Texas is, we only have two men’s college soccer programs. If the schools see that MLS is having success and they think that they can make money from it, only then will men’s teams be created providing that missing link between the youth programs and the professional clubs.
JimInTx,
Charlie McKenzie and his mom!!!! How could I leave that off of my Top 10 movies list. I am turning off the show and heading to the basement to dig through my crate of VHS tapes.
Holy shit, I thought I needed a job. You bastards are in desperate need of a career fair.
Ace, calm down dude – remember stiff upper lip and all that
And on the stiff subject, pmac the place you went to near Chancery Lane sounds like the Griffin (I work near there on occassions) and that can be a bit hit and miss. Depending on your budget Shoreditch can be Ok, try Browns as it’s probably the pick of the crop. If you’ve money to burn then I’d recomend Metropolis (Cambridge Heath road a £10 taxi ride from the West End) or if you want to stay in the West End, I hate to say it but, the big brand of Spearmint Rhino (bottom of Tottenham Court Road) might be what you’re looking for.
However, if you want to go very old school try Sunset Strip in Soho – You pay to get in and it’s a stage downstairs, but other than buying drinks no other charges, although tips are always welcome. No private dances, but you do get the chance talk to the girls when they’re not dancing.
Dutch,
If you ever make it home, the Holland, MI outlet mall is opening up a poker room to run cash games and tourneys. They open Sept. 6 and will start with weekend hours and even have a comp system in place. As big as poker is, the place should get off to a good start. I definitely will have to check it out.

Holy crap! I did a search just to see what happend to that king of an artist, Humpy-Hump and found his concert schedule. On August 17 he’s at a dive bar two miles from my house!
For all you degenerates who can read, Chapter 5 is now online at http://vegasbook.ning.com . We get to know Mullethead and his old lady a bit deeper in this chapter.
BMO, Sixty miles north of Tucson? Man that smacks a lot like my boyhood home of Casa Grande…or Eloy…Picacho…or even Red Rock. I know what you mean in terms of Good Ole Boy justice! You should have seen the fiasco when I put our conversion van through the side of the Patagonia Lake State Park bait shop the second day I owned a license.
Fennville,
I’ve just started reading the first chapter, so I’ve got a bit of catching up to do, but I’ve a question.
Does the book have a title yet? I did look but I couldn’t find one.
Anybody seen the Simpsons yet? I’m dying to go.
Well go then before you make a mess on the carpet
Patch, my cousin texted me last night. He went to a midnight showing and said that it was disappointing… save your money until it comes out on DVD and just rent it if you still want to see it.
Stu – didn’t need to hear that – just bought tix on line for a showing tonight. Maybe the kids will like it at least.
right before strapping your ass to a rocket and being shot into space…i can’t think of a better time TO have a drink. these new shuttles pretty much drive themselves anyway.
English Bob,
I originally entitled it “Potter’s Wheel”. Potter’s Wheel is the device Potter uses to steal all of his info. I am hoping the readers this summer can maybe suggest something better since the original didn’t elicit any buyers.
hey boys how are you today? I hope well. I need to ask a question and get the opinion of a man/men. Totally off any subject but are you open for it?
Great call Fobes. Exactly how much “driving” goes into space travel? Let them have a drink.
Play for Friday:
Dodgers +104 over Rockies
I know Tomko has struggled this year, but one of his few wins was a pitchers duel against the Rockies. LA needs to rebound after losing their last series against the Astros, and hopefully the bats are hot tonight.
Record: +249
wow! i just cruised back through the comments. #17 that’s pretty harsh. Whore magnet?
I’ve been called lots of things but that definitely isn’t one of them. I take that as a compliment that you believe I could charge to have sex. Besides who are you to jusge me anyway.
Yeah seriously, show some class Ace. You’re a real tribute to your country. I know you feel like a veteran because you’ve been posting for 2 days, but figure it out. We can break balls but there’s no need to disrespect a guest who took the time to share her story with us. Now go back to staring at that picture on the wall. Oh never mind, it’s a soccer game.
