David Copperfield Is Fucked

Just when you thought OJ had the market cornered in celebrity shame, America’s favorite illusionist appears with a warehouse full of cash.  Between that and rogue Ultimate Fighting ministers, I’m wondering if Vegas iss really as wholesome as they make it out to be.

Other topics include teachers packing heat, national coming out day, real women vs. hot plastic action, free mags and the most original Monday Night Football idea to date.  Who’s ready for some naked lube wrestling?

Elway’s moved up to second keep voting for him! (I’ve only voted for him once, got to get on some other computers and vote!)

My friend who is a huge Marino fan would be sad about him being in last, but she would be more pissed about Montana winning it walking away. She used to call him ugly arm for his weak passes.

Look at all the QB’s on the list who has the worst arm? Montana, now I agree his being able to win without all the skills of everyone else makes him great, but is he truly the greatest when he couldn’t zip the ball in there?

Aquaman- If it means that much to you why don’t you just go to the library and vote 15 times?

BMO- “The 6 landscapers were looking at me pissed thinking ‘that’s not how you jump a fence”. That one ranks right up there with “Tuesday or Armageddon”. I don’t know if TD didn’t catch it or if he just didn’t find it amusing but he seemed to just fly right past.

No love for Marino but is it fair?

Is it fair to throw championships in the equation when determining greatness? We don’t do it for RB’s. Ask for a list of the greatest RBs and you’ll get Brown, Sanders, Dickerson, and Sayers among others. None of which have won it all. So why is it held against a QB if they can’t win it all?

Marino had an ugly arm? Is it fair to throw championships into the equation?

There’s more to a QB than a golden arm. If that was all it was then Favre and Manning would be running 1 & 2. Hell even Culpepper and McNabb would be in with a chance.

A great QB is the one who runs the offense. Not throwing and either running or taking the hit if all else fails are all parts of the crucial parts of the game. 10 yards or 50 yards it still a first down. All the offense need to do is drive down field and score. One play is great, but ten would burn up a whole load more of the clock.

It’s all about seeing the bigger picture.

I was surprised to see Favre doing so well in the poll. I like the guy; he’s exciting to watch, but he always seems to have a lot of turnovers. He was in second place in the poll at one point yesterday. Someone make the case for Favre for me. I’d be interested in hearing.

Also, regarding the chicken ranch: you pretty much know that you’re not in the swankiest of whorehouses, when they accept coupons that you can print from their website.

    http://chickenranchbrothel.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=86&Itemid=49

(is “the swankiest of whorehouses” a contradiction in terms?)

Just wanted to add some critical information to BMO’s first post in this stream. Specifically, that he was the 11th cab off the rank. Although it was indeed the first post by someone with their panties in a wad.

By the way, nice 12th post Stu.

I think one of Oz men started the “First cab off the rank” terminology, but I think Richie gets credit for extending the pride with his ’4th Cab off the Rank” chest-pound a couple of streams prior. Now we have Buses leaving stations, boats leaving docks. I suspect it only gets more creative from here, much to BMO’s (and ultimately everyone’s) shagrin. Its all good.

I am just now returning to this board with any attention after being focused on other things the past couple of weeks. I will post a full review of the Wonderful Prize Pack I received soon.

Brian: So you know there are actually people out there who are so afraid of feeling vulnerable or getting hurt that they avoid most intimacy. I know that there are some who would give up contact with a woman and have one with a doll.
I asked the boys because maybe, just maybe they know someone out there that is the same way. Your lucky. You’re married. You are so not scared of being the real you with someone else that you are willing to be completely vulnerable with a woman. A lot of people will never even take the chance.

I see what you’re saying fyregirl, I’m just still skeptical that a relationship with a real doll could be perfect, just a different set of problems. Which proves the theory I’ve been working on for years, whether they’re real or fake, broads will give you a headache every now and then.

I have to say, a question like that is a bit silly. I mean, assuming you’re not rooting for a team that already has Brady or Favre or Manning, wouldn’t almost any fan take any one of those quarterbacks (assuming the guys not playing were still in their prime today)?

As I said, I’ve voted for Elway, but I always thought Marino was a great quarterback who didn’t get the love he deserved simply because he couldn’t win a Superbowl. Rings are kinda overrated, after all. Here’s a list of QBs that have a ring and tell me which you’d want as a QB (I’ll keep it post-1980 and I think I got them all, not including the guys already in the poll):

    Terry Bradshaw
    Jim Plunkett
    Jim McMahon
    Phil Simms
    Steve Young
    Joe Theismann
    Jeff Hostleter
    Doug Williams
    Mark Rypien
    Troy Aikman
    Kurt Warner
    Trent Dilfer
    Brad Johnson
    Ben Rothlisberger

I’d take Marino in a second over at least half that list.

From Sydney, Aust. Vic Darchinyan hammered out a tough TKO in the 12th round against Filipino Fernando Catubay. Darchinyan was expected to walk through Catubay but found himself frustrated and flustered by Catubay’s fighting style. With this win, Darchinyan claimed the vacant IBO Superflyweight strap and continue to rebuild his momentum after getting KTFO’d by Nonito Donaire earlier this year

    48TH OFF THE LINE :)

English Bob: Montana had an Ugly Arm, not Marino. Marino had a great arm and the quickest release in the NFL maybe ever. Although he only rushed for 87 yds in his career he didn’t get sacked very often (Marino’s career sack rate was 3.1%. quite low)His quick release and a good step to avoid the rush helped him here.

Asterion I would take Marino over everyone on your list.

Why you should vote for Elway!
148 games won as a starting quarterback – second in NFL
47 game-winning or game-tying drives in the fourth quarter – NFL Record
5-time Super Bowl starting quarterback – NFL Record
50,000+ career passing yards and 3,000+ career rushing yards – NFL Record
7 consecutive seasons with 3000+ passing yards and 200+ rushing yards – NFL Record
