Happy New Year

This ones not on Brian, but we have to delay the show again. There has been snag on the production side, this should be fixed by the start of the new year. Rather than keep you guys in the dark, I feel it’s important to let you know when there’ll be a new show. Feel free to leave abusive comments or even better call the voicemail and let us know how pissed off you are. We will be working hard to make sure this never happens again and as always thanks for taking the time to listen.

Wynning in Vegas

Find out what we’re up to for Christmas. And while you’re here have a listen to the great story for patch406. Jamie Gold and Johnny Chan more than just good friends?

We continue our tour of the strip, this time it’s the newest joint in town the Wynn. Does it live up to the hype? Is there much to see? Can you get a bite to eat? Le Reve is it a Cirque show?

The battle in sports picking starts to heat up this week.

New show on it’s way…

Hi guys, this is Tony I help Brian and Tommy out with the show. I just wanted to let you know that there will be a show out Friday, but it will be late. It is not either of the guys fault, as they recorded the show early in the week. The simple fact of the matter is my sister just had a baby and I’ve been busy catching up with family. That’s for listening and sorry for the delay.

Travel Time or Time Travel

Week one of our sports picks battle, who is going to take the early lead? Thanks for the info on the midget slot machine lady. Patch406 you are an addict, happy to have you on board.

Behind the scenes Vegas is a traveling, traveling to Boulder City on our first stop and on our second trip we’re traveling to Boulder City.

On the traveling theme we are traveling back in time to check out the Rivera. Old time entertainment, which means shows girls, hang long enough at the sports book you’ll see them for free.

Jump, jump, jump… not in Iowa and not in Vegas, but in New York thats another story.

Nascar and Motown

It’s time for a recap of the week, Brian plays some poker with KGB and Mr Tommy Dutch goes shopping with his Mom. Traffic jams on the way to Phantom of the Opera, well not quite, but they’re both listener questions.

Whats on this weekend in Vegas? It’s at the Orleans, we’re not saying anything more.

It’s Nascar time on our tour down the strip as we step into the Sahara. Some of the best poker tournaments in town, bargain tables and liberal blackjack. The show is one of the cheapest on the strip and perhaps one of the most underrated.

We wipe the slate clean as we give you our sports picks this week. For anyone keeping score:

Christmas trees in Vegas… Donkey’s

Catch up with what we did this past weekend. And just in case you wanted to know our sports picks were awful.

Brand new segment for the show…. we forgot to give it a name. Las Vegas outdoors and booze what do they have in common? This segment god damn it.

We waltz down the strip and check out the Stratosphere. The best view around, even if you’re dangling over the edge. One of the last places on the strip that has budget table games, $3 blackjack and 8,000 old ladies.

Tommy Dutch finds a new venue for family entertainment in Vegas. And we answer one of life’s biggest question, will Brian Mollica be getting a Christmas tree?

Bikini’s made out of candy

So what did you guys think of the stripper reviews? Well you tell us in great in detail, not pointing any fingers Brandon.

What’s it like living in Vegas? How does it compare to other cites in the country? Should you live in Las Vegas if your a compulsive person? Is this just one big Hollywood movie set?

Time to call into the historical New Frontier Hotel. The carpet hasn’t been cleaned since Elvis last played the city and betting is over priced, but the rooms are a bargains. It’s two thumbs up for the price of drinks, 99cent margaritas get Brian shit faced for less than five bucks. Don’t miss Gilley’s bar it’s a real gem.

Tommy’s tips are on the table, but take them at your on peril because the man himself isn’t putting any cold hard cash on them. We also get your sports picks for this weekend, although in true This Ain’t Iowa style we forget to include patch406’s phoned in picks.

Protest fest rounds out todays show. What do Merry Christmas and assless chaps have in common?

Strippers and clowns, ahh reminds me of my childhood

Another weekend is in the books and a great result going three for four in our sports picks. Brian has been hanging with Tony Bennett all weekend, but no partying at the Plams.

Part one of our giant Las Vegas strip club extravaganza. Pants off, pants on, beer on, beer off. We start at the Spearmint Rhino and finish up at Larry’s Villa. Tommy Dutch are the rumor’s true?

Time for our next stop down the strip, welcome to the Circus Circus. Brian tells of his childhood and lost afternoons playing lazer tag. And if your on a budget you can find a great steak dinner.

In a last segment we find out why it’s better to drink and drive, than be homeless and have a tipple. Strike, strike, strike.
